The QC review will be conducted independently of the county staff. The reviewer will obtain information from the applicant or recipient’s case file and other records in the county social service office. The records obtained will be the reviewer’s primary source of information regarding the worker’s action and documentation in determining eligibility. The reviewer will also make collateral contact to establish all elements of eligibility.
Reviews will be conducted based on state policies and federal regulations in effect at the time of the sampled review month.
